This is the tower's southern face, i.e. looking northward, at dusk.
Technical details:
* Olympus E-510
* Zuiko ED 14-42mm lens
This image was created using enfuse to blend four varying exposed 16-bit TIFF images (-1, 0, +1, and +2ev). I did not take four photos. I created the TIFF images from a single RAW image and varied the exposures using rawtherapee.
Post processing
* rawtherapee v2.4m1 to vary the image's exposure, straighten, apply color boost, and to convert the RAW file into 16-bit TIFFs.
* enfuse beta to blend the TIFF images into one.
* Photoshop CS2 (running through WINE) to crop,
apply noise reduction, and smart shapen.
* imagemagick's convert command to convert from 16-bit TIFF to JPEG.
* exiftool to copy the EXIF tags from the RAW file back into the JPEG.
* kflickr to upload the JPEG to flickr.com.
* Linux Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron.
* Dell e1405 laptop with the 1.6Ghz Intel CoreDuo and 1GB RAM.
