As part of a family heritage assignment, the teacher had us create a family tree (not shown) and a family crest. So here is my 4th-grader version of the Lider Family crest (with motto). Roll over the picture for annotations or view it bigger.

This is a photo of my aunt Sophie that I slightly retouched (got rid of scratches mostly) in my first Photoshop Elements experiment.
This photo must be from when Sophie was about 3 which would be 1905. For the rest of her 93 years she hated it when people had too much hair. Maybe this early haircut set the precedent!
