The story behind the image....
One evening I was scrolling through some photos I had recently taken of the sun peeking through some clouds. I was trying to think of something interesting to do with them, but I was tired and my mind was off line. But I found myself staring at one of the images and remembered a few shots I had of some cemetery statues of the Apostles. Long story short, I came up with this image with unusual ease and posted it on Flickr. But then, out of the blue for no apparent reason, I E-mailed the image to two acquaintances. The next time I saw these two people they each related that they were going through a difficult time and the arrival of this image lifted their spirits a great deal.
Indeed, God works in mysterious ways.

The reunion of Harvey Bennett and Mary Kershaw after 47 years

Nodyn/Note: An image of Harvey Bennett and Mary Kershaw, sitting on a chair, reunited after 47 years apart, after both had become widowed. They had been childhood sweethearts but were refused parental permission to marry and had gone their seperate ways. Mr. Bennet who was farming in Canada had written to the Oswestry & Border Counties Advertiser to ask for Mary Kershaw's whereabouts. The pair got married in the same year.
